OBJECTIVE/GOAL

On this project, I'm converting all the desktop view mockup to the mobile and tablet view. The project is quite challenging because the design is very complex, there are lots of asset details in it like tag and widget.
I joined this project in the midway through development, and almost all the designs were complete for the desktop version. However, the mobile and tablet versions hadn't been finalized yet. My role was to work more on the mobile version, while my Leader is focused on working on the tablet version.

The Challanges

Changing design tools in the middle of project, need to exporting existing mockup from Sketch to Figma

Need to work according to US time zone, communication with onsite UI/UX Lead only in the morning and evening Indonesian time.
In this project, me and my Lead are first time use and creating components and variants on Figma.

Wireframe and User Flow Creation

As a UI/UX designer, I was responsible for creating user flows based on previously created wireframes. I created them in detail due to the existing assets created on the desktop version. Associate Creative Director and the Lead UI/UX always give positive feedback to improve my abilities. We have two times for updates a day, in the morning and night. In that's time when we can collaborate for about two hours between the Indonesian and US teams.

Mobile Version

Mobile was quite challenging because there were so many changes to make. The most obvious was the menu navigation, which was converted to a footer menu. Many lists that were previously horizontal were changed to vertical. Also, adjustments that previously all visible were changed into expand-collapse.

Tablet Version

On the tablet version, I helped with the homepage, message center, and details page. There weren't many changes on the tablet version, just adjustments and the creation of a side menu, which was previously a header.
